A sailor who was feared around the world have eaten the cannibals in his sojourn on an island in the South Sea, French Polynesia, Pacific. The remains were found burnt in a bonfire embers at one point on the island was believed to be part of the body is a true sailor a 40-year-old business adviser named Stefan Ramin.
A number of international media on Sunday (16/10/2011) reports, Ramin seems to have gone to a traditional goat hunting in the woods after a dump in Nuku Hiva anchor in French Polynesia. His girlfriend, Heike Dorsch, 37, said he saw Ramin went with a local guide named Henri Haiti. However, said Dorsch, who returned only the guide. The guide tells Dorsch, "has been an accident. He (Ramin) need help."
However, before Dorsch rushed into the forest, she declared, Haiti chained to a tree and raped her. Dorsch managed to escape several hours later and told security guards. They then start the search for seven days to find Ramin.
Last week, the 22-member search team that found the police scattered the ashes in a valley. Among the embers contained the bones, including a jaw bone, teeth and the metal melt, which is believed as dental fillings. The investigators believe, a figure "of the human body has been dismembered and burned 'in situ.
Haiti is still missing and the soldiers of the French overseas territories have joined the police to pursue the guide.
What is believed to be the remains of the body had been flown to a hospital in Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. From there the remains will be forwarded to Paris to do DNA analysis to prove whether the remains are really part of the body Ramin or not.
Since 2008, Ramin from Haselau, Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany that sail around the world by using a catamaran (boat berlabung double) with the Dorsch. On Facebook, Ramin wrote his interest 'traveling, sailing, kiting, Kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, diving ... essentially everything that people can do on the surface and under water ".
The couple used an online blog to report on the progress of their activities to friends and relatives. Last month they dump the anchor in Nuku Hiva, the largest island of the Marquesas islands which for centuries has been listed in many reports of cannibalism.
Head of French investigator, José Thorel, based in Tahiti, does not rule out the possibility that the remains are part of the body Ramin. But he said, the test DNA tests could take weeks to get results.
German newspaper, Bild, said, Haiti is a 'suspect cannibals'. Reports from the island, added the paper, said, "Ash from the fire that spread up to several meters. In the ashes were found the bones and teeth. It smells like burning flesh feels. In clothes strewn around the fireplace. A prosecutor said, (Ramin ) are likely to be killed by a cannibal and the parts of his body eaten. " In addition to the horror film, cannibalism is almost unheard of anymore in the modern world. Korowai tribe of Papua New Guinea is one of the last surviving tribes that eat humans as a cultural practice. They number about 3,000 people now live. They live in very remote areas. The tribe was not aware of the existence of other people besides themselves until 1970. The Daily Mail reported, there are claims that the Korowai eat the human brain directly, while still warm. But that claim has not been diverivikasi.
