The Israeli government on Sunday (16/10), released the names of 477 Palestinian prisoners to be freed from the first stage of a prisoner exchange with Hamas party in Palestine. Although the Israelis were given the opportunity to file a legal objection, the exchange is expected to go smoothly.
Of the 477 names were announced, 27 of whom were women inmates. Local media reported, 27 women prisoners will be released as Sergeant Gilad Shalit (25), Israeli soldiers detained Hamas since June 2006, crossing from the Gaza Strip into Egypt's Sinai region.

Israeli citizens were given 48 hours to file a legal objection, and some families of victims such attacks have included their objection to the court. However, exchange of prisoners was supposed to be running smoothly.
"Unless the Supreme Court (Israel) to intervene, or there are people in Gaza are so crazy (to cancel the agreement), it looks like this deal will run in the next two days," said Yaakov Amidror, national security adviser to the Government of Israel.
Opinion polls in Israel show, two-thirds of Israelis support this agreement. Residents in Palestine or Israel preparing to hold a celebration to welcome the release of prisoners.
