Not Fair Treatment for Iran Air

State airline Iran Air criticized the International Aviation Association (IATA), which prohibits the company uses a ticket system of international payment services. The criticism appeared in the news Press TV on Tuesday (11/10/2011) in Tehran.

 Because of the prohibition of the use of international ticketing service system, Iran Air international flight bookings lost opportunities.

IATA yesterday said the ban was part of the international sanctions the United States (U.S.) against Iran. Because of the ban, Iran Air international flight bookings lost opportunity.

According to Director of Civil Aviation Organization of Iran Frahad Parvaresh, IATA policy clearly violates international law. "The ban also violated its own IATA regulations," he protested.

Besides, he added Parvaresh, IATA had no obligation to run the U.S. sanctions. "We see, U.S. pressing IATA," he said while adding, until now Iran Air IATA pay membership dues.
Western countries, including the U.S. and the EU, indeed impose sanctions on Iran because the country was considered insists its uranium enrichment program run. Opponents party considers Iran a nuclear weapon would create deadly.
